How to get to Cottbus?
From BER Berlin Brandenburg Airport the best way to get to Cottbus Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) will be via train. There will be regular trains between the two stations. You can book your train ticket either online via the Deutsche Bahn-Portal: http://www.bahn.com/en or buy the ticket at the ticket vending machine- at the station.
When you arrive at Cottbus Main Station the best way to get to the following hotels is:
- Park Hotel: (Heinrich-Zille-Straße 120, 03042 Cottbus)
At Cottbus Main Station take the “Pückler Bus Line” 10 in the direction of Branitz and get off at the “Branitzer Siedlung” stop. The hotel is on the opposite side of the road. The venue of the CIGAR Workshop is within the hotel complex.
2. Altstadthotel am Theater (Bahnhofstraße 57, 03046 Cottbus)
The Altstadthotel am Theater is in walking distance to the Main Station. To get from Cottbus Main Station to the Altstadthotel am Theater it will take you about 10 min by foot.
3. Novum Hotel (am Seegraben 8, 03051 Cottbus)
The most convenient way to get to the Novum hotel from Cottbus Main Station is by taxi. It will take about 10-15 min from main station.
Arrangements for the CIGAR Workshop
There will be a shuttle service from the Novum Hotel am Seegraben to the CIGAR Workshop on Thursday.
In the evening there will be a shuttle service to the dinner at “Spreewehrmühle” and back again.
Moreover we organised a shuttle service from Cottbus to Berlin on Friday morning.

Arrangements for the IPSASB Research Forum
There will be a shuttle service from Berlin back to Cottbus, for those who want to return to Cottbus.
